Context

Digitech Group is digitalising manufacturing for pharma leaders, built by pharma leaders. They were bringing a new product to market and needed a web presence to launch it. There was no existing site to fix or migrate: they were starting from zero, and the website had to be ready for a real go-to-market, not a placeholder.

The stakes

For a B2B launch, the website isn’t a formality; it’s the surface the entire go-to-market runs on. Digitech needed to look credible to serious pharma buyers from day one, and, just as importantly, needed a platform their own team could run without a standing engineering resource. A launch site that only developers can change is a bottleneck waiting to happen: every campaign, every landing page, every iteration queues behind someone technical. The real risk wasn’t just shipping a site; it was shipping one the business couldn’t operate itself.

What we did

This was the first project delivered through our B2B launch service, and Digitech came to it from nothing. Rather than a one-off marketing site, we built them a platform to grow on.

We created a bespoke brand and design system, then turned it into a set of reusable, on-brand building blocks. The site is built on Next.js + Payload CMS, with content modelled so the team edits and publishes themselves. The result is a system where marketing can compose new landing pages from approved blocks and ship them to drive traffic, without an engineering team in the loop.

Built in from day one

Because this was greenfield, we could build in the things most launches have to retrofit later:

  • Built on Next.js + Payload from day one: an owned, version-controlled codebase, not a rented platform they’d outgrow.
  • A reusable, on-brand block system so the team composes pages from approved components, with no bespoke build per page.
  • Self-serve content editing in Payload, so marketing publishes and iterates without waiting on engineering.
  • Full SEO control from launch: meta, structure, and indexing owned by the business, not capped by a template.

The outcome

Digitech went from no web presence at all to a launch-ready platform they own and operate. Their team can spin up on-brand landing pages to drive traffic without waiting on developers, and the site is built to scale with their go-to-market rather than being rebuilt every time it grows. They launched with infrastructure, not just a website.

What this means for you

If you’re launching a B2B product and starting from zero, the website you launch with should be a platform, not a dead end. Building it right the first time, with an owned codebase, a reusable block system, and self-serve editing, means your team drives its own go-to-market from day one, spinning up landing pages and iterating without queuing behind engineers. You launch ready to grow, not ready to rebuild.

Built in from day one

  • SEC-01 Built on Next.js + Payload from day one: an owned, version-controlled codebase, not a rented platform they'd outgrow.
  • SEC-02 A reusable, on-brand block system so the team composes pages from approved components, with no bespoke build per page.
  • SEC-03 Self-serve content editing in Payload, so marketing publishes and iterates without waiting on engineering.
  • SEC-04 Full SEO control from launch: meta, structure, and indexing owned by the business, not capped by a template.

We needed a professional marketing site quickly for our product launch without having to raise tickets to developers to create new pages. Now we have editorial freedom with confidence.
